These “Steak Turners” as they have come to be called, are for flipping meat of any kind on the barbecue or in the frying pan. They have a sharp curl on the working end that hooks, turns, and releases nicely on everything from steak to bacon. They are forged from a single railway spike, and have a decorative “Rubik’s Cube” twist for the handle. finally they are stamped with my JR touchmark, and hot finished with cooking oil so that they are ready to use right away.

Treat them like you would a cast iron pan. Don’t leave it out in weather to rust, and rub it down with oil if you decide to wash it. It can also be easily re-sharpened with a file if you wear off the sharp edge.
